A new contract signed by the Arlington school district will, for the first time, offer health insurance coverage to domestic partners of teachers. Gay and lesbian couples, as well as couples in long-term relationships, would be covered under the new provision, part of a four-year contract for Arlington teachers signed last week. Bringing the judgment of God for exposing children to the most vile and corrupt behavior known to man, Superintendent Frank Pepe called the new provision something employees had requested as part of contract negotiations.
