Women in various states of undress are entertaining tavern customers in downtown Springfield and neighbors are fuming. The sign outside the Brick House at 136 Fourth St. advertises "Live Nude Girls." During Monday's City Council meeting, five citizens expressed concern that the bar's entertainment is eroding the city's moral fiber and threatening downtown safety. "We want our residential areas and the blocks surrounding them to remain family oriented neighborhoods rather than turning into zones that encourage the propagation of sex-oriented businesses," Springfielder Kelley Blewster said.
