Jury Finds Officer Guilty of 42 Counts in Sex Case

That's the verdict a Lane County jury delivered 42 times Wednesday in the trial of Roger Eugene Magaña, who raped, sexually abused or harassed 13 women during his eight years as a Eugene police officer. The panel of six men and six women found Magaña guilty of all but three of the 45 charges against him. He was convicted of lesser charges on five of the counts.
