LANCASTER -- Two days after he became liable to be tried as an adult, a teenager Tuesday pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in the shooting death of his mother. His plea in Coos County Superior Court came two days after he turned 17. Bernard Poulin was 16 when he was charged in the death of Linda Poulin, 51, in January. Prosecutors said she was shot with a handgun in the back of the head as she ate breakfast at their Whitefield home.
