Accused teacher was a friend, boy's parent says
Teenage son was closely supervised, mom saysMCMINNVILLE, Tenn. — An elementary teacher who resigned when she was accused of having sexual relations with a 13-year-old boy was described by the teen's mother as a close family friend. She also said her son was closely supervised. The boy's mother said she wanted to respond to news reports that her son was possibly not a victim and that he was not properly supervised.
