ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich. -- A defense lawyer says a 15-year-old Rochester Hills teen accused of stabbing his mother 111 times will undergo a mental exam. The tests at the state Center for Forensic Psychiatry will help decide if Chris Dankovich is competent to stand trial and knew right from wrong at the time. Authorities say the teen killed Diane Michele in April after the psychologist confronted him over his use of the Internet to look at pornography and learn how to make weapons.
