Barber Faces More Sex Claims

A trail of evidence of alleged sexual assault going back 30 years has prompted a judge to increase bail for a Soledad barber to $2.5 million. Henry Cano, 59, a popular barber with a shop on Front Street, is said to have raped a girl at his home in Soledad and at his barbershop, as well as at a hotel near Disneyland when she was 12 years old. Two additional victims recently came forward as a result of the investigation, according to court documents, and said they were victimized by Cano when they were between the ages of 7 and 16. Cano is a former associate pastor at Templo El Buen Samaritano. Posted by Editor at July 25, 2005 10:07 AM
