DAYTON, Ohio -- Investigators are searching for a man who police said raped a 13-year-old girl who was waiting for her school bus. Detectives said the assault happened around 6 a.m. Monday at the corner of West Fifth and Euclid in Dayton. Police said the man used a weapon to rape the girl. Authorities said the girl ended up going to school on the bus, but school leaders said they recognized that something was wrong when she arrived at school. Investigators said the girl was treated at a local hospital. Now, her mom hopes her daughter’s attacker is caught quickly. Police said the suspect is described as a dark African-American male, 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighs around 190 and has no front teeth. Officers believe the man is in his 30s.
