CANTON, N.Y. -- A state police investigator pleaded not guilty in the North Country to child molestation charges. 44-year-old Stephen Kotzen of Louisville had been charged with ten counts including first-degree sodomy, first-degree sexual assault and first-degree criminal sexual act. The charges involved alleged acts with three boys between ages 10 and 16 over the past decade. Kotzen is an investigator with the state police's Bureau of Criminal Investigation in Massena.
