Middle School Principal David Creel Pleads No Contest to Sex Allegations
Past sexual affairs with students have caught up with a former high school principal from Bay County. Earlier this month, the state Education Practices Commission permanently revoked the teaching certificate of former New Horizons principal David Creel. He surrendered his certificate and did not contest charges he had ongoing sexual relations with two female students several years ago. Creel provided alcohol to the student and drank with her. When she became pregnant, Creel gave her money for an abortion. Creel was principal at Everitt Middle School before taking the reins at New Horizons when it opened in 1997.
