Teacher's Aide Nestor Mora Denies Homosexual Charges

WENATCHEE -- Accused child rapist Nestor Mora pleaded not guilty in Chelan County Superior Court this morning. The 30-year-old teacher's aide at Pioneer Middle School entered his plea at an arraignment. Judge John Bridges set the trial for May 6. No testimony is taken nor is evidence presented at an arraignment. Mora is charged with third-degree rape of a child, third-degree child molestation and possessing child pornography. Wenatchee police arrested Mora March 6 on suspicion of kissing, fondling and performing oral sex on a 14-year-old boy in January. Police say they found child pornography in Mora's residence, where police say the incident with the boy took place. Read more...
