Rochester Area Gay Gets 20 Years for Sodomizing Boy

GATES, NY -- A Gates gay convicted of sodomizing a boy over a two-year period was sentenced to 20 years in prison and ordered to serve five years probation today. Jonathan J. Meek, 53, was sentenced by Justice Francis A. Affronti. He had been found guilty of three counts of first-degree sodomy and one count of first-degree sexual conduct against a child by a state Supreme Court jury last month. The jury acquitted him of two counts of sodomy and 35 counts of possessing child pornography. Meek was arrested last year when the boy, now a teenager, disclosed the abuse. Read more...
