Teacher Faces Child-Porn and Homosexual Charges
MONTREAL -- An elementary school teacher at a city private school has been arrested in the United States on charges of soliciting a 13-year-old boy and possessing child pornography for the purpose of distribution, the school's headmaster said on the weekend. Richard Doucet, who has taught at Selwyn House in Montreal's affluent Westmount district since 1999, was arrested in Fredericksburg, Va., late on Thursday after attending a conference in Atlanta.
