Molested Boy, 7, Still Haunted by Crime, Grandmother Testifies

CLAYTON -- The 7-year-old victim of a convicted child molester has been barred from playing with his cousins because he is still acting out sexual fantasies from the assaults, the boy's grandmother says. The boy was 5 in October 2006 and February 2007 when Jason Hendrickson performed deviate sexual intercourse on the child at an apartment in south St. Louis County, a jury concluded in convicting Hendrickson Wednesday of four counts of statutory sodomy. Then the jury of 10 men and two women heard shocking additional testimony in the punishment phase of the trial.
