Female 5th Grade Teacher Adrienne Feistel Arrested for Having Sex with Male 7th Grader
Another elementary school teacher is being accused of molesting a former student. This time it's happened at Rosa Parks Elementary School in City Heights. The teacher, 35-year old Adrienne Feistel, is accused of molesting a 13-year-old boy she befriended. The molestation allegedly occurred while the boy was in 7th grade. A former San Diego elementary school teacher has pleaded not guilty to having a sexual relationship with a boy she met when he was in her fifth-grade class. Adrienne Feistel, 35, is facing ten felony counts of lewd acts on a child. Prosecutors say the relationship started when the boy, a former student of Feistel's, was 14 years old. A search warrant says she lived with his family for a short time. The search warrant also says the personal relationship started with text messages then in 2006, the two kissed.
Victim's Family Speaks Out About Teacher Sex Scandal
The older sister of the 15-year-old boy who was allegedly sexually molested by his fifth grade teacher talks to News 8. We're not identifying the victim's older sister or his mother, who spoke openly about the suspect. "She fooled me. She used me to get to my brother. We never thought anything was wrong about her. We saw her as a good person," Feistel befriended the young woman and moved into the family's home for several months. That's when she apparently became more than just friends with the girl's younger sibling, who had also been a student in Feistel's fifth grade class at Rosa Parks Elementary School two years earlier.
Not Guilty Is Plea to Child Sex Charges
SAN DIEGO COURTS -- A 35-year-old San Diego woman accused of engaging in sexual conduct with a boy she met when she was his fifth-grade teacher has pleaded not guilty to felony charges, prosecutors said yesterday. Adrienne Elizabeth Feistel was charged Wednesday in San Diego Superior Court with 10 counts of committing a lewd act on a child.
