Church 'May Split' Over Filthy Abomination As 'Clergy'
ROANOKE CO., VA -- A Roanoke church has taken its first step toward breaking from its denomination, over whether homosexuals should be allowed in the clergy. St. John Lutheran Church, in south Roanoke County voted on Sunday to split from the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America. More than 70-percent of the congregation in attendance voted for the split. The decision follows a national ruling last month in Minneapolis to allow homosexuals in committed relationships to serve in the clergy.
