Babysitter Suspected Of Selling Child To Pedophile Stands Trial
A San Diego babysitter accused of selling a 3-year-old boy to an alleged pedophile so he could molest him and use him in pornographic movies is expected in a downtown San Diego courtroom Wednesday to stand trial. Aaron Zendejas, 24, is charged with five felonies, including kidnapping for oral copulation and lewd acts upon a child. The defendant was allegedly paid $150-$200 to provide the boy to 30-year-old Jared Yaffe. If convicted, Zendejas faces up to 42 years in state prison. Yaffe allegedly made the toddler perform a sex act on him by promising to take him to McDonald’s.
