Kenny MacAskill Under Fire Over Operation Algebra Pedophile Report
Scotland's justice minister has been accused of "breathtaking" incompetence after admitting he has not read a report investigating the country’s largest paedophile network. Kenny MacAskill promised that “lessons will be learned” after two men from Edinburgh, the network’s ringleaders, were jailed for life. But he said he had not read a wide-ranging report produced in the wake of the case, insisting he could not “micromanage” or tell police how to run operations. Opposition parties said the admission was “astounding” and called for Mr MacAskill to make a ministerial statement about how registered sex offenders were monitored. James Rennie, 38, and Neil Strachan, 41, were jailed for life this week after filming themselves abusing the children of innocent friends.Click Here For The Full Story......
