Amnesty International Pushes Homosex 'Marriage'
At the request of a Christian-founded organization, Australia is considering a bill to legalize homosexual "marriage." Piero TozziThe bill before the Australian Senate is being pushed by Amnesty International. Piero Tozzi, executive vice president and general counsel of the Catholic Family and Human Rights Institute (C-FAM), tells OneNewsNow that Amnesty International was originally formed by a Christian mainly to try to free prisoners of conscience behind the Iron Curtain. However, considering the present situation, Tozzi says it seems the group's focus has changed. "I believe it was in 2006, Amnesty changed its position from neutrality on the abortion issue to favoring abortion," Tozzi reports.
