Teacher Faces Homosex Charges In Sex Case
DURANT -- A Coleman schoolteacher accused of sexual misconduct is free on $150,000 bail, the sheriff’s office confirmed Monday. Bill Ray Smith, 53, is charged in Bryan County District Court in Durant with forcible sodomy of a 15-year-old male. Coleman is 22 miles north of Durant. School officials could not be reached for comment. Smith was charged and released on bail Dec. 21 with the stipulation he is not to have any contact with the victim or any other person under the age 18, according to court records. The investigation is ongoing and additional charges may be filed against Smith, said Lt. Carrie Wyrick, Durant Police Department spokeswoman.Click Here For The Full Story......
