Anglican Priest Pleads Guilty to Two More Sex Offences

Former Anglican priest Kenneth Gibbs, imprisoned last month for molesting five young girls decades ago, has been convicted of two more dated sexual offences. Gibbs, 77, pleaded guilty earlier this week to two counts of indecent assault in a Timmins courtroom. The offences occurred in Chapleau where he served as minister of St. John's Anglican Church from 1966 to 1971. Assistant Crown attorney Gerrit Verbeek told The Star the offences involved a girl who was five or six and another who was 11 or 12.
