Victim Returns to Testify Against Former Educator
CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- On Monday, Cindy Simmons Uhl, 45, once again took the stand against Roger Parsons, her former junior high school assistant principal. It was 10 years to the day that Parsons was convicted of multiple counts of sexual abuse against Uhl and several other girls, and it was the 67-year-old's first parole hearing. And it most likely won't be the last time Uhl will have to face her abuser. Thanks to Uhl's testimony and more than 50 hand-delivered letters from community members, family and friends, the Huttonsville Correctional Center's parole board decided to keep the former educator behind bars for at least another year.Click Here For The Full Story......
